Nestled in Bristol and partly stretching in Southington, the Lake Compounce theme park is over 160 years old operating as the oldest theme park in North America. Besides 3 game zones, 3 roller coasters, and more than 10 food outlets, the park also offers a complimentary beach and a water park holding many slides, a cozy river, a wave pool, and an interactive precinct. Further, in October, the Lake Compounce theme park provides a Halloween ambiance as the rides operate in dark of which the famous one is The Haunted Graveyard as a 45-minute tour of crypts, castles, and graveyards with special effects.
