The Busch Gardens of Florida – Amazing for Children

Located at the Tampa Bay, the Busch Gardens in Florida is an animal-based theme park that will make you recall much of the African wildlife. Here, one can watch animals in a tropical environment, try out the thrill rides, and brave the great roller coasters. In fact, the park is more famous for the roller coasters of which four are ranked on the list of Amusement Today's Top 50 coasters. There are 9 themed areas, 4 animal exhibits, and 8 annual events being organized for the innumerable visitors.

Main Rides

All the amusing rides are present in the following nine themed areas.

  • Morocco: This, at the entrance, is adorned by the unusual sheiks, bands, and the Moroccan Palace as a theater for 1,200 people. The famous rides here are:
    • Gwazi - A 90-foot and 50 mph fighting wooden coaster holding the tiger's head and lion's body representing a mythological figure
    • Gwazi Gliders - A small glider ride
  • Bird Gardens: This original park area holds gardens and animal shows. This is where the future attraction called the Sesame Street Safari of Fun will be held. It will be full of rides and adventures dedicated to the country of Africa. Further, you can even watch your beloved characters on a huge screen.
  • Stanleyville: This is where you can find many water rides and SheiKra, a dive coaster. The famous rides here are listed below.
    • SheiKra - A 200-foot floorless coaster with a right angle perpendicular drop
    • Stanley Falls Flume - A log cascade of 43-foot plunge
    • Tanganyika Tidal Wave - A water ride with 20 passengers and a 55-foot plunge
  • Congo: This was where Python, the first coaster of the park, was placed. Today, it offers the following rides.
    • Kumba - A 143-foot seated roller coaster offering seven inversions
    • Congo River Rapids – A water ride that mimics powerful whitewater rapids
    • Ubanga Banga Bumper Cars
  • Jungala: This is the zone of close animal meetings, rope bridges for knowing about the three stories of forest, and a water area. Here, the following rides are famous.
    • Jungle Flyers – A zip line with three flying models
    • Wild Surge - An exploded tower that take you over a waterfall

    • Scorpion - A steel sit-down coaster offering a vertical loop
    • Cheetah Chase - A steel mouse coaster
    • Phoenix - A ringing Egyptian goods craft
    • Sesame Street Film Festival - A 3-D film with the characters of the Sesame Street
    • Sandstorm - An orbiter ride spinning you around
  • Nairobi: The main attractions here are close encounters of alligators and crocodiles, the Curiosity Cavern for the displays of mammals and reptiles, the Nairobi Field Station Animal Nursery with the harmed new ones, and Myombe Reserve as a tropical rainforest of the gorillas and chimpanzees. The key ride is Rhino Rally that is a river ride taking you via the Serengeti Plains and the Asian Elephant display.
  • Crown Colony: Being the smallest park area, it offers two interesting sights and a restaurant. The Crown Colony House is where you can dine, while near to the Budweiser Clydesdale Hamlet is a museum packed with images, attires of the former shows, and old park maps.
  • Egypt: This brings Egypt live via its Bedouin tents and genuine art. Explore the mock-up of Tutankhamen's tomb or try the Montu that is an inverted coaster named so as per the Egyptian deity of war.
  • To travel from one theme park to another, the Serengeti Express and Skyride trains are available.
